Contractor Membership

IEC provides many services to contractors who are independent. From training to worker recruitment, group health and retirement plans, networking, discounts, lobbying, and safety updates. Your membership with IEC Fort Worth is a gateway to enhancing and growing your business. We are one of 52 chapters in the country through the IEC network. The IEC community is for those who believe in the merit shop philosophy that knowledge and skills should be the only determining factors in how far you will advance in your career.

Associate Members

Building a stronger industry, IEC offers business partner memberships to general contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, specialty service providers, and other key companies that support our contractor member companies. As experts in their trade, Industry Partners are essential to elevating excellence within the IEC FWTC community and support our contractor members by educating the industry, providing discounts on quality products and services, and advocating for the independent electrical contractor.

Industry Partners

As IEC members continually strive for excellence, IEC’s innovative industry partners provide the cutting-edge resources and materials our members need to achieve their best work. Industry partners provide the advice, assistance, technology, and resources our members need to effectively manage their businesses and grow their bottom lines. We encourage our members to build strong relationships with our industry partners to fulfill their business needs.

IEC Foundation
Investing in Tomorrow’s Electricians

Founded in 1996, the Independent Electrical Contractors Foundation (IECF) was formed to provide new apprentices the opportunity to gain the valuable hands-on training they need to join the workforce as professional electricians and technicians. Thanks to the loyal support from our industry partners grant funding and the latest state-of-the-art equipment has been donated to Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) training centers across the country.
