| Earlier this month, the Committee on Oversight and Accountability passed the Fair and Open Competition Act (H.R.1209/S.537). The chairman, Congressman James Comer (R-KY), is the lead sponsor of the legislation, which would overturn the Biden administration’s project labor agreement mandate. OSHA to Propose Union Walkaround Rule |
|
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is in the process of issuing a proposed rule that would authorize a union representative to participate in certain workplace inspections. A third party would be permitted to join an OSHA inspector, regardless of whether the representative is an employee of the employer.
