2024-2025 Programs of Study Perkins V is federal legislation requiring states that receive federal CTE funds to align CTE programs of study to high-wage, in-demand, and high-skill occupations. In Texas’s Perkins State Plan TEA committed to reviewing programs of study every four years to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the Texas workforce.
